On behalf of the European Association for Structural Dynamics (EASD), it is a great pleasure to welcome you to the X International Conference on Structural Dynamics, EURODYN 2017, in Rome.
This conference follows earlier successful conferences held in Bochum (1990), Trondheim (1993), Florence (1996), Prague (1999), Munich (2002), Paris (2005), Southampton (2008), Leuven (2011) and Porto (2014) and we are honoured to host this important International Conference at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome Italy, from Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 September 2017.
The EURODYN Conference has developed into one of the key conferences in structural dynamics.
EURODYN 2017 is devoted to theoretical, computational and experimental developments in structural dynamics and their application to all types of structures and dynamical systems. The conference will reflect the state of the art of structural dynamics and dynamical systems in science and engineering practice and is an opportunity to exchange scientific, technical and experimental ideas.
EURODYN 2017 covers all major aspects of structural dynamics through 3 Plenary Keynote Lectures, 26 Mini-symposia covering single topics, and one Minisymposium session on general topics.

Conference Themes

Biomechanics | Bridge dynamics | Dynamic soil-structure interaction | Dynamical behaviour of materials | Dynamics of coupled systems | Earthquake engineering | Experimental techniques | Fluid structure interaction | Human induced vibrations | Impact dynamics | Inverse problems | Multi-scale dynamics | Nonlinear dynamics | Optimization | Reliability and dynamical systems | Stochastic dynamics | Structural health monitoring | Traffic induced vibrations | Vehicle dynamics | Vibration control | Vibro-acoustics | Wave propagation | Wind engineering

The Conference will be held at the Sapienza University of Rome. The Opening and Closing Sessions will take place in the Main Auditorium Building of the Central University Campus. All of the other Sessions will take place at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering located in the historic centre of Rome, directly overlooking the Coliseum and next to the ancient Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli, home to the Michelangelo’s statue of Moses.
